Show NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS Sealed proposals will be received by the Parowan City Council at the City Office, 10 South Main Street, Parowan, Utah, until 7 o'clock p.m. June 26, 1974, and at that time publicly opened for the extension of a bituminous surfaced runway and a tie down area near Parowan, Iron County, Utah, the same being identified as Project No. SA-l-PO). The principal items of work are approximately as follows: 4,000 cu. yds. unclassified earthwork ear-thwork (excavation) 3,200 cu. yds. unclassified earthwork ear-thwork (borrow) 13,900 lin. ft. of fencing 5,400 tons of " untreated aggregate base course 3,600 tons of V mineral aggregate for mixed in place bituminous surface course 4,000 tons (alternate No. 1) of V bituminous surface course (Hot Plant mix) The project is to be completed in 45 working days. Prequalification of bidders is required. Prior to any bidder's receiving plans and specifications, it will be necessary that the bidder have on file with Parowan City Corporation Cor-poration completed and ap- prequalification statement , pertaining to contractors experience ex-perience and financial condition. Proposal forms, plans, and specifications are on file in the Parowan City Office, Parowan, Utah where they may be reviewed by prospective bidders. Proposal forms, plans and special provisions may be obtained ob-tained at the Parowan City Office, Of-fice, Parowan, Utah upon application ap-plication and payment of a fee of $10.00, no part of which will be refunded. Each bidder must submit a bid bond from an approved surety company on forms provided by Parowan City Corporation; or in lieu thereof, cash, certified check, or cashiers check for not less than 5 percent of the total amount of the bid, made payable to Parowan City Treasurer, as evidence of good faith and a guarantee that if awarded the contract, the bidder will execute the contract and furnish the . contract bonds as required. The right to reject any or all bids is reserved. State of Utah Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction, Edition of 1970, shall apply on the project except as modified by the Special Provisions.
