Show Robert Morris Picnic slated by 0ES Cedar Chapter No. 20, Order of the Eastern Star, met Monday evening June 10, at the Masonic Temple with Mrs. Gaye Thurston, Thur-ston, worthy matron and Arthur Thurston, worthy patron, presiding. A routine business meeting was conducted and plans for the following activities were ; finalized. The Chapter's ; Homecoming will be Sat. June 15. A short business meeting will be held at 8 p.m. at the Temple, followed by a progra m a nd buffet supper. Sunday, a No Host breakfast break-fast will be served in the Escalante Room at the Town and Country Restuarant at 9:30 a.m. The Woods Ranch recreation area will be the scene of the annual Robert Morris Day picnic on Sunday, August 11, for members, their families and invited guests. The picnic will be in the form of a pot luck dinner I and those planning on attending are asked to bring their table j service. j The members voted to dispense with meetings during the months ; of July and August, with the worthy matron, secretary and treasurer remaining active in case of emergencies. Refreshments were served following the meeting by Gaye and Art Thurston, Bernice and Clayton Lewis. |
