Show Tracy Taylor named Miss Rodeo i PAROWAN - Miss Tracy Taylor of New Castle was chosen as Miss Rodeo Iron County in competition held Saturday afternoon af-ternoon in Parowan. Tracy is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Taylor. She will now be eligible to go on to compete in the Miss Rodeo Utah contest to be held July 24 in Ogden as a representative of Iron County. Miss Wendy Stubbs was chosen as princess for 1976. Wendy is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Stubbs of Parowan and is 16 years old. Princess attendants are: First, Miss Maria Robinson of Parowan. Maria is the daughter of Mr. Frank Robinson and Mrs. Bonnie Church. Second, Miss Rhonda Tullis of Beryl, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Tullis. This group of royalty will represent Iron County in rodeos in the area and will reign at the Iron County Rodeo and Race Meet, along with Miss Iron County, to be held during the Iron County Fair in September. The girls competed in a poise and personality session in the afternoon on Saturday at the Parowan Library Lounge. This RODEO PRINCESS. This group of royalty will represent Iron County in rodeos and reign at the Iron County Rodeo and Race Meet, along with Miss Iron County and Miss Rodeo, to be held during the Iron County Fair in September. was followed by a luncheon. A horsemanship section of the competition began at 5 p.m. at the Parowan track. Each girl was asked to ride a specified pattern and judging was on a point system. A special award of "Miss Congeniality," voted by the girls participating, was presented to Tracy Taylor and a Horsemanship award was won by Rhonda Tullis. The Queen and Princess were awarded tiaras and all winners were given cash prizes to help with transportation costs and the cost of buying proper attire.
