Show Wesley Larsen receives State Honors Dr. Wesley P. Larsen, professor of biology at Southern Utah State College, has been named 1978-79 president of the Utah Academy of Sciences, Arts and Letters. Other new officers are Dr. Richard Sadler, professor of history at Weber State College, president-elect; Dr. Max L. Carruty, professor of sociology at the University of Utah, member at large; Dr. Gar W. Workman, associate professor of wildlife sciences at Utah State University, chairman of the biological sciences; Sally Bradshaw, assistant professor of libraries at WSC, chairman of the library and informational sciences, and Dr. Pamela J. Riley, assistant professor of social work and anthropology an-thropology at USU, chairman chair-man of the social sciences. Larsen is president of Phi Delta Kappa (Southern Utah Chapter) and an associate fellow of the Danforth Foundation. He is a member of the Committee for Handicapped Han-dicapped Scientists, American Association for the Advancement of Science. He was named teacher of the year at SUSC in 1976. |
