Show Enoch and Midvalley News By Veda Matheson Mr. and Mrs. Ivor Jones enjoyed a visit from their children, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Mathews and family who were here from Idaho. Also stopping for a brief visit with the Mones were Mr. and Mrs. Robert Scabby and baby who were returning to their home in Arizona after attending BYU this past year. Friends and relatives and former neighbors were nappy to visit with Mrs. Grace Smith and part of her family Mr. and Mrs. Hillman Haycock have as house guests for the summer, Irma's nephew, Howard Motz, from Honduras Mr. and Mrs. Franklin Jones, Mrs. Barbara Shandrew, and Mrs. Rachel Jones made a trip to Kanab last week to pick up Joe Shandrew who will live here for the summer. Mrs. Edna Mae Jones made a trip to Salt Lake to have some medical tests. Mr. ai)d Mrs. Orien Prince spent a few days vacation in Hurricane, St. George and at Enterprise. Worth Grimshaw returned this week from a business trip to Cleveland, Ohio. Eva Grimshaw came from Arizona to visit with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hunter Grimshaw and was accompanied by her nieces, Annette and Neena Christensen who will stay for a longer visit. Mr. and Mrs. Ted Jessup had as houseguests, Mr. and Mrs. Terry Anderson. President and Mrs. W. R. Grimshaw enjoyed having their family together over the holiday weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Grimshaw and family were here, also Mr. and Mrs. Kent Terry and children, Mrs. Joan Thomsen and children and Gail Grimshaw. Visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Joe Armbruster were their daughter and son-in-law and baby, Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Szczesny who are stationed with the army in Ft. Carson, Colo. Also here with the Armbrusters were Mr. and Mrs. Larry Armbruster and family. The young people of the Enoch Second Ward are. sponsoring a Magic Show featuring Scott Price from our area and Craig Allen of Kanab. The purpose of the show is to raise money for meir A. P. superactivity. Scott Price is the. son of Mr. and Mrs. Bob Price and recently won second place In the Southern Utah Writing contest with a short itory entitled. "To Sell." Representative Grtn Jones and Senate- IVfln Matheson returned.ver ult weekend after attending thl Special Session of the StsU Legislature. Mrs. LoulM Matheson spent the week In, Salt Lake with her husband and received medical treatment. |
