Show Did you know That we spoil people upon whom consciously or unconsciously we look upon as inferior to ourselves. 50 years ago-Memorial ago-Memorial Day was fittingly observed in Cedar City by a parade and services at the Cemetery, with the American Legion in charge of arrangements. The graves of six world war soldiers of Cedar and one of Enoch were decorated by the American Legion, and the National Guard fired a salute. Those graves decorated were: Harry Jones, Enoch; and at Cedar, Elmer Jesperson, Lionel Dover, Logan Bryant, Freeman Clark, Carl Carpenter and Harold Mc-Connell. Mc-Connell. Prayer was offered by Rev. A. W. Bartholomew Bar-tholomew and Dr. M. J. Macfarlane gave a sincere talk honoring those who had given their lives to keep peace in the world. 25 years ago Austin Heywood was sustained as Bishop of Third Ward at Conference Meet. ALSO-C. L. Ewing of Cedar Laundry and Cleaners, was named chairman of the Korean Fund Drive. ALSO-New officers were installed to head the Cedar City Lady Lions. They were Mary Anker, president; Arvilla Day, director; Norma Nash, publicity; Mrs. Thomas Thorsen, secretary ; Mrs. Patrick Fenton, director and Mrs. Neil Boyter, vice president. 10 years ago Ten Iron County students was among the more than 1,850 candidates for degrees at the 75th annual commencement com-mencement at U.S.U. They were Relle Whitelaw of Beryl; Alyson Adams, Lloyd Adams and Larry W. Rowley of Parowan. From Cedar City they were Alice C. Alexander, Lee F. Hunter, Richard A. Morris, Thomas S. Reese, Marion C.
