Show SUP members Enjoy Trip Indian dwellings. Our party arrived back home at 6 p.m. after a most delightful day. The SUP Officers urge all members to watch for the announcement of the next trip and to plan for it. The Sons of Utah Pioneers enjoyed another wonderful trip with their partners and friends. Boarding a Southern Utah State College bus at 7 a.m. May 20, with Blair Maxfield as driver, we headed for Escalante and Boulder, Utah. Thirty six happy and congenial people were there to enjoy the comforts of this well equipped bus. During the entire trip Mr. Maxfield kept us entertaind and informed with his extensive knowledge of the geology of this part of the country and the different ages of the mountain ranges and the fossils contained in them. Stopping in Escalante our group visited Edison Alvey's private museum of Indian artifacts and antiques. At the Calf Creek campground we enjoyed box lunches in a beautiful canyon setting, then on to Boulder where we visited the Anasazi Museum and viewed the diggings.
