Show Red Hill Wranglers Announce Program For Riding Club Day, Memorial Race Meet The Red Hill Wranglers riding rid-ing club have drawn up a full day of riding events for the clubs All Day Riding Club Meet, set for Saturday of this ! week, states Mrs. Mary Gaej Evans, reporter. Participating! in the day's events will be riding clubs from Hurricane, Panguitch, Marysvale and Cir-1 cleville besides the host clubi The meet is being sanctioned sanction-ed by the Utah and Western: Riding Clubs Association. j Post time for this event will be 2 p. m. and all racing and rodeo enthusiasts of the entire southern Utah area are invited invit-ed to come and enjoy a full day of racing and riding sport. ! The Wranglers announce a six-race card during the afternoon after-noon with jack pot roping and tying to hold the interest of fans between races for a complete com-plete program of entertainment. Starting at 10 a. m. on Saturday, Sat-urday, riders will compete in the following events, which will be staged at the Parowan City race track and rodeo arena: are-na: Ladies Western Pleasure class, Men's Western pleasure class, and Pairs Western Pleasure Plea-sure class and open stock horse. Water racing, potato racing and Key Hole racing, and cutting horse competition. j Pole 'bending, team pole bending, relay races, clover leaf barrel racing and ladies clover leaf barel racing. This will be followed by' calf roping, ribbon pull and a pony express race. I Riding club officers state' that there will be a conces-J sion stand operating at the track during the day and that there will be a noon break in the competitive events. The Wranglers also are making final preparations for their annual Memorial Day Race Meet and Rodeo, to be held at the race track and arena on Memorial Day, Tuesday, Tues-day, May 30. |
