Show ENOCH AND MIDVALLEY NEWS By Mrs. Veda Matheson Mr- and Mrs. Gary Maxwell Max-well and Mrs. Merna Garrett took their Sunday School classes to Pipe Springs Satur-day Satur-day to see the pioneer house and learn more about the pioneer and Church history that they are studying. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Christiansen, Mrs. Ina Richardson, and Mr. and Mrs. Theron Foster helped help-ed with transportation. Mrs- Laura Hunter has been visiting for a few days with Mrs. Drusilla Smith. Monday she accompanied Mrs. Smith and Mrs. Ina Richardson to St. George to attend a funeral. Mr. and Mrs, Bert LQwry. and family enjoyed a visit over the week end from Bert's mother, Mrs. Erma Lowry and his brother, John Bert and Shirlene took them to see Bryce Canyon and other scenic places in this area. A large number of young people from Enoch and Mid-valley Mid-valley graduated from three and four year Seminary at the exercises held Wednesday at the Cedar West Stake House. Mrs. Louise Matheson and daughter Elma were in Salt Lake City Sunday and Monday. Mon-day. Mrs. Joy Baird went with them. Burdean Murie and children visited in Toquerville Sunday. Richard Matheson stopped overnight with Mr. and Mrs. Dilworth Armstrong and also visited with Ivan and LaMar Matheson and families- Richard Rich-ard is the son of Frank and Berniece Matheson, who are former Enoch residents and now live in Idaho. Richard recently re-cently returned from an LDS mission in South America and was on his way to California. Cali-fornia. Dee and Cleone Wilcken and family were in Salt Lake City over the week end. There will be 12 students from this area graduating from Cedar High School Friday Fri-day night. These are Carolyn and Cathy Matheson, Cindy Christensen, Marlene Maxwell, Charlene Murie, Connie Spiers, Zola Bryant, Lucy Wood, Wallace Wal-lace Sherratt, Mark Nelson, Frank Rost and Phil Baird. i |
