Show Dr. Dale Tingey To Address Institute Grads Dr. Dale T. Tingey will bo the speaker at the College of Southern Utah Institute of Religion Re-ligion graduation exercises to be held Sunday, May 28, at 8:15 p. m. The exercises will be held at the Cedar Seventh-Eighth Ward Chapel. Also featured will be talks given by Joan D. Smith and Kenneth L. Cox. The LDS Student Stu-dent Association Choir will present three numbers and president Robert B. White, Jr., CSU Stake president, will award the diplomas. A reception will follow immediately im-mediately in the cultural hall. Dr. Tingey began his career in the field of religious education edu-cation in 1951 as a teacher in the seminary at Cedar City. Following this he taught at the BYU Training School and then was director of the Institute Insti-tute of Religion adjacent to the campus of Washington State University. After completing his doctorate doc-torate he taught in the College Col-lege of Religious Instruction, Brigham Young University. He was then anDointeri to the Institute of Religion at the University of Southern Calif-ornia Calif-ornia after which he was called to be Assistant Administrator Admin-istrator of the Seminaries and Institutes of Religion. In Church work he is a former bishop of BYU 18th ward, a bishop's counselor of University Ward, Los Angeles Stake, and a high counselman of the West Sharon Stake in Provo. He obtained his B. S. degree from the University of Utah and his Master's degree from BYU in Church History and Philosophy. In the summer of 1957 Washington State University Uni-versity awarded him a Ph D. degree in Guidance, and Counseling." Coun-seling."
