Show NEWS FROM NEWCASTLE By Norma Christensen Mrs. Beverly Evans and little daughter of Cedar City were weekend visitors at the home of her folks, Mr. and Mrs. Russell Christensen. Another An-other daughter, Janice, was home from her studies at CSU. , Mr. and Mrs. Jim Cox of Cedar City were visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. George Beacham. Scott Tullis was home for a week's visit from his studies at Santa Monica, Calif. Scott is attending a school for the blind that teaches computer programming. Mrs. Ray Daniels of Oro-ville, Oro-ville, Calif, is visiting at the home of her daughter and her family, Mr. and Mrs. Darwin Hulet. Mrs. Bea Piatt and family attended a wedding and reception re-ception for her neice in New Harmony Friday. Bea's two boys, Wayne and Leon went . 1 to Moapa, Nev., Thursday with a friend. Saturday, Bea and I the rest of the family went to Moapa where they visited with friends there. The family fam-ily returned home Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Rex Skidmore and son of Salt Lake City were weekend visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Harrison. Sam Granato of Salt Lake City visited over the weekend at the home of Mrs. Mary Tullis and family. Uvada Stake Conference was held Saturday and Sunday Sun-day in Enterprise. The visiting visit-ing authority from Salt Lake City was Elder Paul H. Dunn of the Council of Seventy. A shower was given Monday Mon-day night by Mrs. Juanita Butler for bride-to-be, Miss Donna Rae Hulet. Most of Donna's friends were in attendance. at-tendance. Mr. and Mrs, Fred Woods of Mesquite, Nev., were week end visitors at the home of their son and his family, Mr. and Mrs. Lister Woods. They also visited the ward Sunday. |
