Show Cedar Chapter SUP Elects 1968-69 Officers Installation of new officers of the Cedar City Chapter, Sons of Utah Pioneers took place last Wednesday at the College of Southern Utah Caf-' eteria featuring the annual bread and milk supper. About 60 were present and former president, Howard Dalley, pre-1 sided. Named as officers for the coming year were: Floyd Atkins, At-kins, president; Otto Fife, 1st vice president; Orson Haight, 2nd vice presid?nt; Calvin Robb, 3rd vice president; Sher-ril Sher-ril Davis, director; Blaine Stapley, chaplain ; George Croft, historian; Haldow E. Christensen, judge advocate; and Clem Judd, secretary. A musical program was featured fea-tured from the College and Morris Shirts, professor at CSU and grandson of Porter Shirts, one of the great pioneers pion-eers of Dixie, gave an interesting inter-esting talk on his progenitors. Ray Knell, vice president of the National SUP gave a report re-port calling attention to the encampment to be held in Salt Lake City in August and a trek of the SUP Mormon Battalion to Kanab and Lake Powell scheduled May 10 to 12. Everett Call, membership chairman of the national SUP, was on hand and suggested projects and Harold H. Jenson, national historian and former form-er president, complimented Cedar Ce-dar City, praising historian Wm. R. Palmer's collection, Gronway Parry's collection of pioneer wagons and carriages and encouraged the chapter to support the construction of( the Iron Mission Park. I l'-' '''' ' v NEW SUP OFFICERS.
