Show Elks Announce Most Valuable Student Winner I Three Southern Utah high 1 school seniors have distinguished distin-guished themselves by earn-.ng earn-.ng the award of Most Valuable Valu-able Student from the Cedar City Elks Lodge No. 155G. First place went to Lee Monroe Mon-roe of Millard Il.'gh School. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. LaMar Monroe of Scipio. For this achievement, he will be awarded a $260 scholarship to assist with his studies at Utah State University. Second place went to Dale C. Hatch, Cedar City High i School senior and son of Dr. and Mrs. Conrad V. Hatch. He will receive a $175 scholarship. scholar-ship. Garnering third place- was Dawn Etta Tomkinson, also of Millard High School and ; daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Howard How-ard E. Tomkinson of Fillmore. This award will give Miss Tonikinson $125 to aid with her studies in the field of Medical Technology. In addition addi-tion to this honor, Miss Tomkinson Tom-kinson previously distinguished distinguish-ed herself by winning $175 in the Youth Leadership Contest Con-test sponsored earlier this year.
