Show 1 Lions Club Names Candidates For 1968-68 Officers Members of the Parowan Lions Club met in regular session at the old Rock Church last Thursday evening. This was the meeting at which nominations were made for the election of officers to lead the club for the coming year with the following members being placed in nominations by those present: First vise president, Wim-mer Wim-mer Mortensen and Eugene Robb; second vice, David Wil-kerson, Wil-kerson, and Bill Burns; third vice, Robert Miller and Earl Bunn; tail twister, Bruce decker deck-er and Don Warren; lion tam-e,r, tam-e,r, Leo Hall and Glade Smith; One year directors, two to be elected, Gayle Wood, Charles Dalton, Dick Dotson, Glen Hal- j terman and Jay Moore; secretary, secre-tary, David Orton, Ramon Bentley and Rodger Allen; treasurer, James Fare and Max Dalley. President Ted Burton was in charge of the meeting and following the discussion of a few routine items, the swimming swim-ming pool beautification project pro-ject was again considered. It was announced that plans are now ready for the project. It was announced that Jim Benson Ben-son and his engineering class at the Parowan High School will do the surveying. Lions Earl Bunn and Jim Fare are in charge of the project. It was also announced that the Lions International observes ob-serves its birthday this mor and the Parowan club w 1 hold its birthday observar has been tentatively set Thursday, April 25 at Bri on Thursday, April 25 at Bri Head Inn with all membi and their wives urged to I present.
