Show I Janet Gurr, Jacque ' dimming Honored By CSU Fraternities Stories carried in this week's CSU Thunderbird carry news of the selection of queens to represent the various fraternities fraterni-ties on the College of Southern South-ern Utah campus.. Among the young ladies chosen to represent repre-sent two of the fraternities are a daughter of a Parowan couple and a granddaughter of another Parowan couple. Miss Janet Gurr, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. arnold Gurr, was cowned as the sweetheart sweet-heart of the Tau Kappa Theta fraternity at the school at the dinner dance of the Tau Kapp and Sigma Upsilon sorority on Feb. 4. The Pi Beta fraternity at the school named Miss Jacque Cumming of Julesburg, Colo, as its queen for the year and she and her attendants will be honored at the Sweetheart Ball this coming week. Miss Cumming is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Emitt Cumming, Julesberg and is a granddaughter grand-daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. F. Bentley of this city. |
