Show Heart Month Gets Kiwanis Club Kick-off Members of the Cedar City Kiwanis Club brought to focus the vast problems of the heart as a kickoff to Heart Month at a meeting held Monday -evening. Dr. Rymal Williams, Cedar City physician, and former .members and president of the Kiwanis Club addressed the group explaining problems of the heart and the vast need lor research and development. Dr. Williams indicated that the number one cause of death is conditions' of the heart. He further told club mem bers that hard work never caused a corornary occulsion, but that stress was the prime cause followed In order by tobacco to-bacco and heritage. A brief report on the recently recent-ly concluded Five County Organization Or-ganization meeting at the College Col-lege of Southern Utah was reported re-ported by Dr. MsRay Cloward. Daryl Schramm was appointed ap-pointed by Ray Juvelin, club president, to head up the organization's or-ganization's interclub committee commit-tee activities and special guest for the evening was proposed new member Delbert Bills of Mountain States Telephone Tele-phone Co. |
