Show I.C.B.A.7-10C0RNER George Fetty took top series honors this week in the Monday Mon-day Couples leagues at the Cedar Ce-dar Bowling Lanes with a 623. George rolled games of 205, and 233 in his series. Roy Batty walked off with the high single game honors rolling a 23(5 in a 582 series. Clare Randall Ran-dall rolled a 221, Nyal Miller a 202, and Randy Rosenberg a 200 for other games of note. George and LeVern Fetty rolled the top team game oi the night, a -400, and also the top team .series, a 1155. Clare 2650 series to take second place honors to Beeline in this department. Rosenberg and Parry rolled the top team game, and also the top team series this week with a 700 game in a 2072 series. Jones and Morris took second place honors with a 1980 series for the night. The girls outdid the boys Thursday in the Mixed Dou- 1 bles league with Nora Smith, rolling the high game of 227, and also the high series, a 618. Nora put games of 211, and ISO behind her 227 for the series. Carl Petty rolled a 224 game, and John Hickman a 580 series for the best of the boys. Dono Webster rolled games of 202 and 210, John Hickman had a 202, Hump Rosenberg a 203, I and Virginia Randall took runner-up honors in the single game department with a 361 game, and Nyal and Faye Miller Mil-ler took second place honors in the team scries with a 1056. Hoyles Insurance team pro. vided most of the action in the Tuesday night Rainbow Rollers league, rolling the high games of the week, and also the high team series. Hoyles rolled games of 897, 90S and 895 for a 2700 series. The Meadow Gold team came un with a 895 game, and a 2611 series for second place honors in both departments. The Hoyle team anchor man Floyd Evans, set a new league high series mark this week with a 649. Floyd rolled games of 206, 205 and 238 for the series. The Hoyle team lead-off lead-off man, Bob Hulick, also stayed stay-ed close, rolling games of 204, 226, and 181 for a 611 series. The Meadow Gold anchor man, George Fetty, banged out a 234 game, and a 612 series for runner-up honors to Evans in both departments. Other games were a 219 by Neil O'Brien, O'-Brien, Ash Paddock a 215, and Logan Carr came up with a 211. The Iron County Lumber team took over first place in the Southern Associated league lea-gue this week behind their lead-off man, Mel Adam. Mel took high single game honors hon-ors with a 241 game, and the high series of the night, a 619. Don Larson took runner-up honors in both departments with a 2331 game and a 607 series. Floyd Evans was the only bowler this last week to hit the big game twice, and he rolled games of 203, and 204 in a 599 series. Clyde Nelson also came close to the big series with a 598 in which he rolled a 212 game. Some of the other big games were a 230 by Boyd Adams, Gary Middleton and Mario Stones each rolled a 223, Virge Smith came up with a 212, and Rex Hulet and Ernie Humpheries each had a 211. Games of 200 were rolled by Chet Cripps and Nolan Stokes, Don Adams had a 201, Byron Anderson a 203, and George Fetty a 204, and a 204 by Clare Randall. The Cedar Bowling Lanes team took top team honors with a 916 game, and the Beeline team top series honors with a 2686. Runner-up honors to CBL in the high team game was a 925 rolled by Beeline, and then CBL finished with a |
