GAIL, designed by the Bulova Watch Co., Inc for Army use in Vietnam, directs aircraft by means of colored col-ored lights. GAIL can be airdropped by helicopter and Ect up or dismantled by one man in less than three minutes. Operated by either internal or external power sources, the 26-pound light directs landings under any weather conditions. |
