Show Easter Seal Makes Plans for Activities "Mis. Ivor Jones of Enoch has Joined with Bonnie Smith of Cedar City in the fight against crippling. They want to remind every, one that the Easter Seal Society, So-ciety, national, state, and local lo-cal is today one of the great national voluntary agencies. Services, which started literally literal-ly with care for one crippled child, now reach a quarter of si million crippled children and adults annually. The Utah Society maintains a large rehabilitation workshop, work-shop, an Evaluation Center to determine the abilities of crippled crip-pled and handicapped, for placement in the Rehalilita-tion Rehalilita-tion workshop, further education, educa-tion, or if possible direct placement place-ment in industry. The Utah Society sends rippled children to a summer ta p, with the cooperation of the Utah National Guard. The "Easter Seal Society does many other things for individuals, such as providing tools for the handicapped, artificial limbs, wheel chairs, braces and crutches, regardless of how the person becomes handicap-jwd. handicap-jwd.
