Show Matron Will Observe 80th Birthday with Special Open House The family of Mrs. Frances R. Williams, Kanarravllle, Is honoring honor-ing her on her 80th birthday, Feb. .25. All relatives and friends of Mrs. Williams have been invited to call on her at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Sherald Peterson, 1341 Denver St., Boulder City. Nev. between the hours of 2 and 5 p. m. The family has requested request-ed that no gifts be brought. Mrs. Williams married Jesse F. Williams (deceased) on Nov. 20, 1901. They had six children, four of whom are now living. They include Mrs. Ethna Ford. Chester D. Williams, both of Kaiiarra-ville; Kaiiarra-ville; Mrs. Velma Peterson, Boulder Boul-der City, Nev.; and Mrs. LaDene Walker of Cedar City. She has 20 grandchildren and 17 greatgrandchildren. great-grandchildren. Mrs. Williams served in many capacities in the various auxiliary auxil-iary organizations of the LDS Church, including president of the YWMIA and the Relief Society. Socie-ty. She was commissioned postmaster post-master of Kanarraville in 1912 and served in that capacity for 20 years, being released on Jan. 5, 1933. With the help of her family she also operated the town telephone tele-phone switchboard for eight years. Mrs. Williams was a member of the Dramatic Association for 1 w MRS. FRANCES R. WILLIAMS many years and took a leading part in most of the plays produced pro-duced oy that company.
