Show j Evening School Enrollment Figures Reported Winter quarter enrollment In the College of Southern Utah Evcningi Schr' reached 130, it wi annou)-- d - this week by Dr. McRny Cloward, chairman of the evening school program. Full time students have taken advantage of the extra class offerings of-ferings with a total of 93 participating partici-pating In the evening schools. Dr. Cloward stated. A total of 37 graduate stu;ents are enrolled. At the present time 12 classes are being taught and it is indicated indi-cated that during the spring quarter additional class offerings offer-ings will be made available. Most of the classes are held periods. These classes offer credit cred-it hours. A class in Citizenship has already al-ready been listed for the spring quarter offerings, Cloward stated. sta-ted. This new class will be offered of-fered as a result of a request from the Cedar City Chamber of Commerce and a number of aliens al-iens In the area. The class will deal principally with requirements require-ments for obtaining of United States citizenship papers; however, how-ever, the class will be open to anyone Interested. Dr. Cloward said the evening school is anxious to supply the needs of students and area residents and urged anyone Interested In-terested In a particular class to contact him. |
