Show Cedar Redmen Overcome Hurricane Tigers i After a slow start which saw the Cedar Redmen score their first field goal of the game with only two minutes remaining in the first quarter of play, the Ce-, dar City team found the range1 and moved to an easy victory over the Hurricane Tigers last Thursday night by a score of 67 to 57. A tight zone defense had the Redmen stymied through the; firrt six minutes of play but once Coach Bruce Deckers quintet found the range they were off and running, never to he threatened threat-ened again by the Hurricane crew. Paul Stokes, hitting from the high post against the 1-3-1 zone, and Donnle Roberts, showing fine outside shooting ability, furnished furnish-ed the main fuel or the fire that found the Redmen out in front by as many as 20 points during the game. Stokes hit for 20 points with a phenomenal 10 for 10 from the free throw lane. D. Roberts came in for 16 followed, by Kent Farnsworth Farns-worth with 8 and Kent Smith with 7.
