Show Neighborhood Meet Summons Area's Girl Scouts A n e lghbor-hood lghbor-hood meeting for Girl Scout leaders lead-ers was held recently re-cently at the Carl Swanson home. Among those in attendance were Mrs. John Robertson, Neighborhood Chairman, Mrs. Bill Topham and Mrs. William Esplin. Mrs. Esplin, the 1962 Cookie Chairman, announced that the Cedar City Girl Scouts were conducting con-ducting the annual sale and would continue a house to house campaign through February 19. , The combined Girl Scout committees com-mittees of Cedar City announced that their long-promised 'Thinking 'Think-ing Day" program will be held February 23 at 7 p. m. at the East Elementary School. This program will be put on by the Girl Scouts and Girl Scout lead- ers to acquaint mothers with the program. All Interested mothers with girls of scout ai'e have been invited in-vited to attend and learn more about the activities of the national na-tional organization. A full evening even-ing of entertainment and education edu-cation has been planned. |
