Visitors here over the week end from Henderson, and Las Vegas, Nev. were Mr. and Mrs. Lionel Davis and children, Mr. and Mrs. Dayton Davis, and family and Mrs. Roma Wood and Sharla. Marlam and Donald Williams are out of school with the mumps. Maria Ford has returned home after spending a few months' in Henderson with her daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs Lionel Davis. Da-vis. Ren Williams and his sister, Lynn, attended a funeral at Delta Del-ta Saturday for a relative, May-nard May-nard Maxfleld, who was killed in a car accident near Ely, Nev. Speakers In Sacrament meeting Sunday were Barabara Williams and Grant Condie of Cedar City. Mrs. Condie gave a musical number. num-ber. A son was born Mar. 6 at the Iron County Hospital to Mr. and Mrs. Clair Batty. Our school teachers, Mrs. Janet Stokes and Mrs. Alenna Williams accompanied by some of the mothers, mo-thers, took our school children to Cedar City Tuesday. They visited vis-ited at the depot, television station sta-tion and airport. They. had lunch at the North Elementary school and were shown through the building. All report a very enjoy-able enjoy-able day. George A. Berry accompanied his daughter, Mrs. Eloda New-berger, New-berger, to Salt Lake City. Mr. Berry Ber-ry has been in poor health for some time. Visitors at the home of Amanda Aman-da Williams were Mr. and Mrs. Clayton Williams and daughter Deanna of Henderson; Mr. and Mrs. Albert Averett and children of Cedar City and Venice rrince and son Merv'in of New Harmony. Har-mony. Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Hasklll and children of Payson visited here with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. WiUard Batty. Mr. and Mrs. Denor Pollock are visiting In Las Vegas. |
