Show Farewell Testimonial To Honor Departing Missionary i CHARLES TOPHAM A farewell testimonial will be held Saturday night. Mar. 17 in the First-Second Ward chapel "v"ul - "I" ' - - of Silas Topham of Parowan, who will leave for Salt Lake City and the mission home next Tuesday. Elder Topham has been called to fill a two-year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Latter-day Saints In the California mission. mis-sion. The program for the testimonial testimon-ial will begin at 8 p. m. with the following program to be given: Congregational singing, "I'll Go Where You Want Me to Go"; Invocation, In-vocation, Mario Topham; vocal solo by Sanford Topham; Talk by Paul E. Felt, director of the L D S Institute at Cedar City; vocal solo, Verl E. Taylor; remarks by Silas Topham with a response by his son, the missionary; re- marks' by Bishop Taylor Miller; a vocal solo by Pres. Howard D. Knight, and benediction. Elder Topham is a graduate of Parowan High School, the L D S Institute of Religion at Cedar and has been a student at C S U for the past two years. |
