Show m Reya Margaret Barton Becomes Bride In Institute Wedding Mr. and Mrs. Thomas G. Barton of Parowan, announce he marriage mar-riage of their daughter, Reya Margaret, to Mr. Larry Kent Mc-Garry. Mc-Garry. Mr. McGarry is the son of Mr. and Mrs. G. D. McGarry of Cedar City. The double ring ceremony cere-mony toop place in Cedar City on Saturday, Mar. 19 at the LDS Institute of Religion. Giles Bo-lander Bo-lander of the College Ward bishopric, bish-opric, officiating. For the wedding the bride chose a floor length gown of imported im-ported lace over taffeta. She wore a Juliet cap of lace trimmed with pearls and sequins, to which was attached a long veil of bridaj illusion. il-lusion. Her flowers, which consisted con-sisted of white orchids and gardenias, gar-denias, were arranged in a heart shaped bouquet. Mrs. Peggy Dobrusky, as matron ma-tron of honor, wore a model of pink nylon. Other attendants, Miss Emma Jane Benson, Miss Myrna Green, Miss Patty Lowder. Mrs. Joan Mortensen, Mrs. Peggy Jensen and Mrs. Aileen Pris-brey, Pris-brey, wore similar gowns of pink, blue and yellow nylon. The attendants at-tendants each wore corsages of gardenias and red roses. Little Sharee Lynn Jensen, gowned in white taffeta and carrying a basket bas-ket of red and white carnations, was flower girl. Mr. McGarry was attended by his brother-in-law Kenneth J. Jensen and his brother KerVey McGarry. The newlyweds were honored at a reception that evening at the Parowan First Ward Relief Society rooms. Following the reception re-ception they left for a brief hon- eymoon trip to Las Vegas, Nev. For her going away ensemble Mrs. McGarry chose a navy blue wool suit with white accessories. Mr. and Mrs. McGarry are now making a home in Salt Lake City. |
