Show Funeral Services Heldfor Alfred C. Stucki, 70 Funeral services were conducted conduct-ed by Bishop Paul Stokes in the Cedar Stake House Friday afternoon after-noon for Alfred C. Stucki, 70. Mr. Stuckl died March 6 fallowing a week's illness after having suffered suf-fered a stroke. Until suddenly stricken he had been in excellent health. Long a prominent livestock producer and farmer in this area Mr. Stucki had been acUve In numerous livestock and agricultural agricul-tural organizations. He was president pre-sident of the Coal Creek Irrigation Irriga-tion company, a member of the Land Management Board of this District, the Cedar City Livestock Board, and was a director in the Southern Utah Lumber Company. Mr. Stuckl was born in Santa Clara on Feb. 19, 18K6. a son of Christian and Mary Gubler Stuckl. On July 23, 1913 he married Cora Jones of Cedar City, in the St. George temple. They made their home In Oklahoma where Mr. Stuckl was a teacher In a Branch of Oklahoma A A M for a period of three years. Following this they moved to Cedar City where they had resided since and where Mr. Stuckl had engaged en-gaged in farming and livestock raising. He Is survived by his widow, three sons, Sheldon, Lloyd and Blaine Stuckl, Cedar City, and two daughters, Mrs. F. M. (Louise) Peterson, Cedar City, and Mrs. Paul (Eva) Williams, Henderson, Nevada. Also surviving surviv-ing are 12 grandchildren, and the fcVlowlng brothers and sisters: Edwin Stuckl, Ivins, Utah; Ether Stuckl, Cedar City; La Veil Stuckl, Santa Clara; Merrill Stuckl, St. George; Dr. 'Ronald Stucki, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Glen Webb, Hurricane, Hur-ricane, and Mrs. Lula Toblcr, Ivins. Speakers at the services were Stake President Elwood Corry, Leo Larson, and Arthur K. Hafen, St. George. Prayer at the mortuary mor-tuary before the services' was by H. Marvin Jones, Invocation by Henry Graff. Santa Clara; benediction bene-diction by Conway Parry and the dedicatory prayer by Dr. Roland Stucki, Salt Lake City. The musical program included the opening song, "Tho Deepening Deepen-ing Trials," and the closing song, "Jesus Lover of My Soul", by a double mixed quartet composed of Geraldlne Felt. LaRae Gulll-ford. Gulll-ford. Hazel Granger, Zelma Lunt, DeMoin Jones, Kay Boulter, William Wil-liam Condie and Rex Maxwell; also a vocal duet, The Lord Is My Shepherd." by Mr. and Mrs. Howard Wood, and a violin solo by Roy L.
