Show Home Ec Departments To Meet as Part Of SUTA Convention The Utah Home Economics Association As-sociation will meet at College of Southern Utah Saturday, March 24 In conjunction with the southern south-ern Utah Teachers' convention. Announcement to association members was sent out by Alyce Wlllardson, home economics instructor in-structor at Ephralm Junior High' School, and Evelyn Applonle, head of the foods department at CSU. "The meeting will be open to all members of the association, teachers, dieticians, home dem onstration agents', and graduates in the department of home economics eco-nomics throughout the Southern Utah district. According to Miss Applonle a guest speaker representing repre-senting the field of home economics eco-nomics will address guests on new trends of home betterment. Sessions will be conducted at North Elementary school. A general gen-eral discussion topic will be "What's Our Next Move In Home-making Home-making Education?" i Miss Applonle explained that j plans for the state home economics econom-ics association convention for lAoril 20 will be discussed, "it is suggested that other participating participat-ing colleges In this area will make announcements of , their spring programs for home economics eco-nomics recruitment," Miss Applonle Ap-plonle said. The groups will be guests at CSU's opera production, "II Trovatore." Tro-vatore." Earlier in the evening a smorgasbord dinner and program pro-gram will be presented. |
