Show Cedar Liens Honor Daughters Jit Special Luncheon i Daughters of the Cedar City Lions Club members were guests of honor at the club's luncheon' meeting Monday noon. The fathers and daughters on- joyed an outstanding program which was arranged under the direction of Reed Bradshaw, chairman. Tribute to the daughters was given by Louis Sayre. with the tribute to the fathers given by Bonnie Magleby, daughter of Lion V. R. Magleby. A piano duet was given by Nancy and her father Cleo Petty, Pet-ty, and Deanne Mullett, daughter daugh-ter of Wes Mullett, gave a read Ing entiled "My Daddy's Diary." Vocal quartet composed of Pat-Frame, Pat-Frame, Judy Jensen, Jackie Ber-rett Ber-rett and Kathy Leigh, with Elise Randall as accompanist, performed per-formed on the program. The evening eve-ning was topped off by a dan -e number with Nellie Rae What-cott, What-cott, Virginia Brown, Bobbette Bauer, Dixie Andrews, Ramina Ence, Carolyn Batty, Lana Jean Prince, Joan Pace and Lynn C.rimshaw, all of the Cedar City Hieh School, participated In the dance. Club members were reminded also that the sons of lions members mem-bers would be honored in a fathers and sons meeting which has been set for Monday, April 28. |
