Show Osborne Reviews Lineup As Work-Outs Begin Coach Bruce Osborne of the College of Southern Utah Indicated Indi-cated today that all was In readiness read-iness for the arrival of an expected ex-pected 45 or 50 men for football drills that will start Monday, Sept. 9 at the Bronco campus. Equipment issues are being made this week In anticipation of the opening drills. Coach Osborne explained that he was starting drills a week later than most of the Inter-mountain Inter-mountain Collegiate Athletic Conference members. Reason for the delay is because of the late date for the opening of school, Sept. 30. Although the Broncos will not begin workouts until Monday, they will have a thorough going-over going-over before the opening game on Saturday, Sept 21 against Chaf-fev Chaf-fev College of Ontario, Calif. They will work out twice daily for two weeks In preparation for the opening game which will be played at the Bronco bowl at 8 that evening. Only a few of the 35 expected expect-ed to report will be familiar from last year or previous years, Osborne states, with most of the men reporting In directly from their respective high schools where they participated last year. Returning from last year's squad will be Boyd White, Ken Grlener and Wendell Heaton in the backfleld and Tom bird, Dee Smith, Larry Bybee, Dwayne Col-ledge Col-ledge and Grant Myers on the line. Four former Cedar High men who will turn out this year Include In-clude Gary Middleton, Wendell Holmes, at the tackle spots with Gayle Simkins at Guard and Spencer Bryant. Bryant was all-state all-state last year at tackle but will be changed to an end this year, Osborne stated.
