Show Relatives, Friends Attend Houston Rites A number of relatives and friends from this city were In Pangultch Wednesday to attend funeral services ' for Wallace Mouston; 67, prominent resident of Garfield County, and well-known well-known to most of the older Parowan Par-owan residents. Mr. Houston died of a heart attack at his Panguitch Lake ranch Sunday afternoon. Mr. Houston married Florence Matheson of Parowan, Sept. 12, 1917 in the Logan L D S temple, and has been closely associated with residents of Parowan in his ranching and livestock business. He was born In Panguitch on Nov. 17, 1889, a son of James and Sarah LeFevre Houston. He was a veteran of World War I, had served on the Panguitch City Ci-ty Council and as a Utah State Senator from 1945 to 1949. An active member of the L D S church, he fulfilled a mission tc Australia and had served as member of the Panguitch South Ward bishopric, as a mem be l of the Stake Presidency and the high council of his stake. He is survived by his widow two sons, Mat and F. Grant, Pan. guitch; a daughter, Mrs. Flora Keller, Price, five grandchildren one brother and one half-broth I |
