Show I High Attendance Reported at Alumni Reunion ' Another very successful reunion reun-ion of former studenta "of the Parowan High School was held last Saturday afternoon at the Five Mile recreation camp with approximately 175 alumni of the school and some guests being registered at the affair. Those in attendance started to gather soon after the Saturday .afternoon race meet program ' and the barbecue dinner was I served between the hours of 5:30 and 7 p. m., with many meeting meet-ing former members of their classes for the first time In a number of years. Officers for the coming year were elected during the gather- Ing "with two brothers, Heber and Kendall Gurr, being named president pres-ident and vice president, respectively, respec-tively, of the association. Other officers will be Frankie Lou Bentley, secretary; Gretta Wood, treasurer; with Georgia Etowe. Merna Mitchell and Spencer Lemmon as members of the board of directors. Retiring offic?rs of the association asso-ciation who arranged and carried car-ried out this year's reunion and dinner were Gordon Whitney, president; Lyle Evans, vice president; pres-ident; Jetta Rowley, secretary; Auglne Rogerson, treasurer; and Clayton Tullls, Roma Jensen and Roena Benson, board members. - |
