Show I Donald Mosdell Ends Navy Refresher Course Bralnbridge, Md. (FHTNC): Donald B. Mosdell, yeoman first class, USN, son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas W. Mosdell of , Cedar, completed a nine-week course of refresher training at the Naval Preparatory School, U. S. Naval Training Center, Balnbrldge, Md., and will enter Purdue University this fall under the Naval Enlisted Enlist-ed Advanced School Program. During this session the 4? career petty officers were given intensive drill in English, mathc- matics, and science to prepare them for college level work In engineering. Designed to increase the level of competency among enlisted men who must operate and I maintain the increasingly complex com-plex equipment of today's Navy, NEASP provides for two years of enginering at civilian univeral- . ties followed by four years of active ac-tive duty with the fleet. At the end of this period, those who are eligible may return to college to earn their degrees. While attending college these men will have the costs of tuition, tui-tion, books, and other fees paid by the Navy. In addition they receive their regular Navy salary. |
