Show Cedar City Woman Travels to Provo For Father's Funeral Mrs. D. C. Schmutz was called to Provo this week because of the death of her father, Harry Walter Startup, 82. Mr. Startup a well-known candy manufacturer, manufac-turer, died at his home in Provo Pro-vo on Thursday, Aug. 29, follow-Ing follow-Ing a brief illness. Funeral services for the prom-lnent prom-lnent Utah citizen were conducted conduct-ed Tuesday, Sept. 3 at the Berg Mortuary. Burial was in the Provo Pro-vo City cemetery. Mr. Startup owned and operated the Startup Candy factory, a firm organized In Provo by his father in 1875. He was active in the Chamber of Commerce, B P O E lodge of Provo, and was an active worker in the L D S Church. Survivors Include hi widow, Martha Artimlssle Harris Start-up; Start-up; four daughters and two sons, Elbert H. Startup, Pasadena, Calif.; Harry W. Startup, Jr., Pro-vo; Pro-vo; Mrs. Thomas R.
