Mr. Miller pointed out that a Utah State law, which became effective ef-fective May 10, 1955, requires all license holders to pass an eye examination every five years. In view of this, It is impossible to renew an applicant's license until un-til the results of the eye test have been received by the department. de-partment. It was explained by Mr. Miller that the required eye test may be taken without charge at any of the division's driver license offices or by ap-plying ap-plying to a drivers' license examiner ex-aminer as he appears on regular schedule In various cities and towns throughout the state. Or, if it is more convenient, the license li-cense holder may furnish the department de-partment with a doctor's report or certificate showing the results re-sults of his eye examination. |
