Show ROTC AF Dotachment Prepares for Inspection Responsible for desirable judg-( ment of their detachment, the Air Force ROTC group staff at College of Southern Utah Is making mak-ing assignments to the cadets in preparation for federal inspection inspec-tion May 7. ! Capt. Ralph R. Holmer, commandant, com-mandant, said that Col. Charles H. Wilkins, assistant inspector general for the Air Force, and Lt Col. Robert G. Goforth, area liaison officer will take command com-mand of the annual inspection. Col. Chester Meyers, president ! of the Dugway chapter of Reserve Re-serve Officers Association, will be here, also Members of the group staff are Cadets Maj. bon Ritchie. Maj. Eldon Webster, Major Jim Miller. Lt. Col. Lorin Brown and Lt Col. Gene Secrist. Unil now six contributors have i given awards, which in turn will jbe awarded to outstanding cadets. ca-dets. They are Cedar City Lions, Utah Society of Sons of the American Revolution, Convair, Chicago Tribune, Dugway chap, ter of Reserve Officers Association, Associa-tion, and the Cedar City Elks. The Elks' award Is to be given to an outstanding sponsor. The I Chicago Tribune ia giving four separate plaques. Col. Meyers will visit the detachment de-tachment on May 1 and select and review prospective candl-date candl-date for the Dugway Honor cadet. ca-det. The May inspection and pass-ln-review will climax the responsibilities respon-sibilities assumed by the group staff, selected last fall. Major events this year have Included a trip to the Nellls air show, a California airplane manufacturer, manufactur-er, and the Military Ball. |
