Show All in Readiness for District Legion Confab Final preparations for the District Dis-trict Seven spring convention of the American Legion and Aua-Mary Aua-Mary have been made for the event which will be held this Saturday In Parowan, according to officers of the organizations who are in charge of it. j Legion Posts and Auxiliary units from Beaver, Garfield, Iron, . Washington and Kane counties' make up District Seven with . Steve Williams, Milford publish-'er, publish-'er, as district commander and Mrs. Williams as district president presi-dent of the Auxiliary. They will be in charge of the activities in Parowan Saturday night. The convention will open with a banquet for the Joint groups in the homemaking department of the Parowan schools. Tiiis will be followed by a joint meeting and then separate sessions ses-sions for each group during which new officers for the district dis-trict will be elected and other business matters will be taken care of. All those present will re-group for closing exercises. Bain Matheson is head of the entertainment committee. Meeks Dalton Is program chairman, Mrs. Meeks Dalton. banquet chairman and W. Clair Rowley publicity chairman. Mr. and Mrs. Ross F. Taylor are commander and president pres-ident of the local Legion post and auxiliary unit, respectively. |
