Show I Andrew M. Lamoreaux Accorded Last Rites By Nora Lund Funeral services for Andrew M. Lamoreaux, G9, who died Apr. 5, was held Tuesday in the Para-gonah Para-gonah Ward chapel under the direction of Bishop Victor R. Robinson. Mrs. Melva Barton was at the organ for prelude and postlude music and also accompanied accom-panied the choir. Amasa Stones led the choir In singing ,"l Know That My Redeemer Lives," with Lelane Lamoreaux as soloist, and "That Beautiful Land" as the closing number. Prayers were by Ancll Adams of Parowan and Melvln Baldwin of Cedar City. A history of the deceased was read by Mrs. Walter Walt-er Robb, while T. A. Robinson and Thomas Davenport of Paro-wan Paro-wan spoke of his good life. Special musical numbers were vocal solos by Pres. Howard D. Knight of Parowan with Mrs. Dick Jones accompanist, and Iceland Ice-land Lamoreaux of Henderson, Nev., with Mrs. Lowe Barton at the piano. Bishop Robinson con-eluded con-eluded the services with brief remarks. Pall bearers were Mr. Lamor-eaux's Lamor-eaux's six sons, Joe, Errold, Kay, Clark, Clair and Ray. The beautiful beau-tiful flowers were carried by grandchildren and close relatives with Mrs. Gaytha Benson In charge. Interment was In the Paragon-ah Paragon-ah cemetery under the direction of the Southern Utah Mortuary. The choir sang "Slumber and S. Walter Robb dedicated the grave. |
