Show Three DUP Camps Combine for Special Xmas Party The combined local camps of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers held a Christmas party Friday, Dec. lo, at the First Ward. A large group attended. Welcom-ing Welcom-ing members and guests were the presidents of the three camps, Agnes Judd, Iron Mission Camp; Marjorle Mackrell, Aunt Margaret Camp; Idonna Malthies, Coal Creek Camp. The newly organized band composed of Daughters of the three camps and conducted by Wanda Cox, played several numbers num-bers of Christmas Carols. A reading was given by Marion Hahne, and Alice Chamberlain accompanied one of her students, little Miss Baldwin, as she sang a Christmas song. A guest, Rhea Heaton, led the group in singing "The Twelfth Day of Christmas." Gifts were exchanged and refreshments re-freshments were served by the committee, the vice presidents of the three camps: Zoella Benson and Zella Matheson, Coal Creek Camp; Ada Perry and Joyce Smith, Aunt Maragaret Camp; Jlortense Robb, Iron Mission Camp. Mrs. Zesta Dalley, vice president of the Iron Mission Camp, was out of town. |
