Show College of Southern Utah Music Department i To Present Band, Chorus, Madrigal Singers ' The College of Southern Utah Music Department will present the CSU Band, Madrigal Singers, Chorale and the CSU Ladies Chorus in concert this evening, Thursday. i The concert will be staged In the ball room of the student cen-! cen-! ter and is slated to begin at 8:00 : p. m. The Chorus and Madrigal Singers Sing-ers and Ladies Chorus are under the direction of Dr. Blaine Johnson John-son with Harold Boyce conduct-I conduct-I Ing the band. I The band will perform the I "Concert Suite," by Ashe as well I as the "Dance of the Japanese Youth," by Tohno, and the "Second "Sec-ond Symphony for Band," by Erickson, and will end the evening's even-ing's entertainment with the "Triumphal March form Quo Va-j Va-j dls." i The Chorale will render a spiritual spir-itual "Ride on, King Jesus", arranged ar-ranged by Parker-Shaw; the poem, "Choose Something Like a Star," by Frostand put to music by Thompson and will also give a Christmas touch to the program pro-gram with the presentation of "Silent Night" and "Glad Tid-ings." Tid-ings." Slated for the Madrigals will be the "Three Madrigals", by Biem-er Biem-er an old English selection "O, No John, No", and the popular "Shenandoah", arranged by KJel-son. KJel-son.
