With only one starter back from last years main five, several sever-al of the new members showed up very well to the pleasant surprise sur-prise of the fans on hand for the game. They shot well, backboard -ed well and passed well for the first game and if they had a bad weakness It was in the foul shooting department, which wasn't was-n't too good. The Piute team was not at full strength for the game we understand, under-stand, but Robinson of that team led all scorers with 20 of the 33 points his team garnered. The Parowan Junior varsity team won from the Piute Junior varsity by a rather one sided score with several of the sophomores soph-omores on this group looking very good.
