Show Ernest Webster, 83, Dies at Home; 7 " ' Services Set Friday l rt i EBNEST WEBSTER Ernest Webster, 83, of Cedar City died at his home at 232 South 400 East at 2:30 a. m. Wednesday, Wed-nesday, Dec, 7 after a short illness. ill-ness. Funeral services for the longtime long-time resident of Iron County, will be held Friday, Dee. 9 at 2 p. m. at the Cedar Firth Ward chapel. Visitors may view the body at the Winterrose Southern Utah Mortuary Thursday evening or Friday prior to the services. Mr. Webster was born in Loft-us, Loft-us, Yorkshire, England on Oct. 19, 1877, the youngest son of William Wil-liam and Caroline Burdell Webster. Web-ster. He imlgrated to this country coun-try with his father and four brothers bro-thers and sisters. He married Katherlne Marie Nelson May 25, 1904 at Parowan. Mrs. Webster died Dec. 25, 1946. Well known in southern Utah, he was the owner ari operator of Webster Coal Co. for many years. Survivors include two sons. E. Nelson and Louis Webster, both of Cedar City, and three daughters, daugh-ters, Zella Webster and Mrs. Iceland Ice-land (Erma) DeMille. both of Cedar Ce-dar City, and Mrs. D. J. McMur-phy McMur-phy (lone), Salt Lake Citv; one sister, Mrs. Annie Hamilton of Beaver; 13 erandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. |
