Show ENOCH AND MIDVALLEY NEWS Mrs. Dee Wilcken Last Tuesday evening Bp. and Mrs. Theron Ashcroft attended our MIA and showed pictures of their recent trip to Mexico. They also brought some of the things they had bought while there. It was a very interesting evening for the entire Mutual Study Class. Mr. and Mrs. Dee Wilcken and family traveled to Clearfield over the week end to attend the Farewell Fare-well Testimonial of Laura Louise WlicJtcr., who has been called on a mission. She will enter the Mission Home on June 3 and will serve in the Northern States Mission. Miss Wilcken is a sister sis-ter of Mr. Wilcken. In Sacrament meeting Sunday we were pleased to hear from two returned Missionaries from Parowan. Ralph Watson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wood row Watson, and Lloyd Benson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lucius Benson. Richard Nelson and his family fam-ily motored to Clearfield last Saturday. There they attended the Farewell Testimonial for Miss Laurie Louise Wilcken. They returned home Sunday bringing with them their wife and mother, Elaine, who has been convalescing at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Q. Wilcken. Mrs. Nelson underwent surgery two weeks ago in the LDS Hospital. Cleon Matheson has entered the Veterans Hospital in Salt Lake City for treatment ' Four families from our town enjoyed an outing at Glen Can- . yon Dam and the Sand Dunes ' Saturday. Mrs. Randolph Ran-dolph Grimshaw and family. Clark Maxwell is putting in I footings for a home that he purchased pur-chased from the movie site by I Glen Canyon Dam. |
