Show Rondo. Neilson Wins Honorable Mention In Adv. Art Contest College of Southern Utah art student Ronda Nielsen, Cedar City, has been awarded honorable honor-able mention In the 1963 collegiate colle-giate advertising art contest sponsored by the Advertising Association As-sociation of the West and the Zellerbach Paper Co. Professor Thomas A. Leek, chairman of the CSU Art Department, Depart-ment, said Miss Nielson won the recognition from a group of 570 entrants representing 65 schools, for a poster she designed depicting youth fitness as advocated ad-vocated by President Kennedy. The poster will be used for exhibition exhi-bition in advertising the youth fitness program. Miss Nielson will receive a color slide of her poster and a brochure illustrating illustrat-ing all of the winning entries. Miss Nielson Is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. D. Nielson and is a junior student at CSU. She was a 1963 recipient of a scholarship scholar-ship presented by the Lucille L. Broadbent Foundation. |
