Show CEDAR CITY SOCIAL SWING ! Entertaining at a dinner and square dance party Friday evening even-ing were Mr. and Mrs. Gail Duncan. Dun-can. The Duncans invited the Bob Linfords, Mont Sanders, Eldro Rigbys and Floyd Tuckers for the occasion. Members of the Cazania Club met last week at the Wood's Ranch reacreation area where they enjoyed a cook-out and entertainment en-tertainment in the form of vol-, leyball and other outdoor gaTies. Committee members In charge of the July party were Velma Leany, Catherine Overson, Glen-na Glen-na Dodge, Marian Lunt and Margaret Mar-garet SJoblom. Brief visitors at the DcMar Bowman residence last week was their daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. Grant Esplin. The Es-plins, Es-plins, who have resided In Arizona Ari-zona where Grant has attended school, were enroute to Beaver. Guests at the Berkley' Cra-ham Cra-ham home recently were Mr. and Mrs. Dale Vance. The couple from Ephraim were enroute to California Califor-nia for a summer vacation. Enjoying a trip to Grand Canyon Can-yon early this week were Mr. and Mrs. Darwin Nelson, accompanied by their daughter Diana Smith and her children Marine and Eric. Dr. and Mrs. John Ral traveled travel-ed to Tonopah, Nevada, this past week where they visited with Mr. and Mrs. Gaylen Berry and son John. The Beals and Berrys then journeyed to Yosemite National Na-tional Park in California. Summer visitors in the southern south-ern Utah area currently are Mr. and Mrs. Norman Prince and family. The California residents are visiting in Cedar City with Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Hanzon and in New Harmony with Norman's family. A trip to Canada and the World's Fair Is being enjoyed by Mr. and Mrs. Guy C. Tucker of Cedar City. The Tuckers invited their granddaughters Phyllis and Susan, daughters of the Floyd Tuckers, and Clarisse, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Grant Tucker, to enjoy the trip with them. The vacationers left here July 9th and expected to return sometime this week. Accompanying them during part of the trip were Mr. and Mrs. John Thomas of Helena, Montana. Mrs. Thomas Is the former Lois Tucker. Collins Clark and family of Pasadena, Calif., visited in Cedar City last week with friends and family members. They were guests at the home of Violet Urie during their stay. The Carks were enroute home after vacationing in Yellowstone National Park. Completing a 13 day vacation Mr. and Mrs. Jay Ramsey and children returned to their home In Cedar City July 20. They traveled trav-eled to Yellowstone National Park where they stayed for four days. During their jaunt the family fam-ily motored through Idaho, Montana Mon-tana and Washington. In Spo-kane, Spo-kane, Washington, they visited with Mrs. Ramsey's brother and family, the Heber Jorgensens. |
