Show l STEVEN ORTON Steven Orton Returns Home irom Australian Mission Elder Steven Orton arrived home Friday after spending the past two years laboring as a missionary mission-ary for the LDS Church in Australia. Aus-tralia. He was met by his parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Loll in Orton, in San Francisco on Tuesday, and they visited in that city for a day and the King's Canyon and Sequoia Se-quoia National Parks for anothei day on their way home. Elder Orton reported his mission mis-sion Sunday afternc n in the Sacrament meeting of the First Ward and left early Wednesday for the north rim of the Grand Canyon where he will become assistant manager of the Inn for the Utah Parks Company. He had been employed by that company com-pany prior to his call to the mission field. He will return to his studies at BYU In the fall. He left for the Australian mission in June, 1960 where he labored for 14 months in Melbourne and then for ten months in the Perth area of the "down under" continent, and reports re-ports that he enloyed . ts with the Australian people very much. |
