Show Cedar Breaks District Scouts Will Get Awards, Badges Presentation of three Eagle Scout Awards will highlight a Cedar Breaks Boy Scout Court of Honor to be held Sunday at 8:15 p. m. at the College of Southern Utah Stadium. To receive the coveted Eagle awards will be a father and son combination, Morris Shirts and his son Russell Shirts, of Troop 3J7 and Billy Adams of Troop 370. Mr. Shirts is scout master of his troop and Billy is assistant scout master of Troop 370 anil is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Adams of Cedar City. A host of other advancement awards in addition to merit badges bad-ges and other presentations will be made. In addition to the throe Eagles scheduled for presentation presenta-tion six Star awards will be made and 21 life awards . Troop 317 has 21 advancements in addition to those to be received re-ceived by Mr. Shirts and his son. Advancements to be awarded from Troop 347 include Star awards to the following: Ryan Chamberlain, Carl Swansoa and Randy Shirts. To rectlve Life awards are: Greg Cloward, Douglas Cox, Richard Cox, Len-nie Len-nie Olafson, Gale Cripps, Dan-lal Dan-lal Webster, Gordon Topham, Tat Dover, Marshall Topham, Lewis Dover, Evan Jones, Terry Woolf, Mace Church, Russell Dover, Garth Green, Larry Naegle, Mike Butters and Randy Bunnell. Other recipients of advancement advance-ment awards will Include Star awards to Kim Hunter, Phil Hunter and Rex Middleton and Life awards to Ervil Asay, Keil Neilson and Dale Hansink, all of Troop 330, and Blaine Johnson of the Eight Ward will also receive re-ceive his Star advancement. Numerous merit badge awards will also bepresented during the evening according to A. Richard Olds, district advancement chairman. |
