Show NebraskaBPWClub Ladies Visit in Cedar " The lovely patio and garden of Mr. and Mrs. M. A. Cowley was the setting for a delightful party honoring 23 members of the Nebraska Federation of Business Bus-iness and Professional Women's Clubs given by the Cedar City Club. With the Nebraska group were two past state presidents. Miss Gwendoline Birky, Llnclon, Nebraska, and Mrs. Helen . H. Kohes, Ora, Nebraska. They were returning from the National Convention Con-vention of B. P. W. Clubs In Los Angeles and paused In Cedar City before visiting Zion, Bryce, and Cedar Breaks. Also honored were . deles ates from Cedar City to Girls' State at Logan, who with their mothers were guests of the club. Miss Joan Duncan was sponsored by the Cedar B. P. W. Club. The other delegates are Miss Kathy Knell, Miss Judy Cowan, Miss Cheryl Brown, and Miss Mary Ann Jalmcr. Their reports were entertaining and rewarding. Mr. Carelock and his students provided pro-vided beautiful dinner music. Mrs. Alta Johnson acted as chair man of the committee on food and arrangements; Mrs. Nettie Baldwin In charge of the program: pro-gram: Mrs. Freida Withrow, presided. pre-sided. Mrs. Withrow and Mrs. Ada Carpenter represented the Cedar City Club at the National convention con-vention In Los Angeles. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Lunt and Mrs. Can-dace Can-dace Ewing traveled to Pan-guitch, Pan-guitch, last Monday evening. Mrs. Lunt had been invited to Install the new officers for the Panguitch Club. |
