Show H H CLUB A tasty dinner was prepared by committee members of the H H Club and served to club members and their partners, July 19th. Scene for the affair was Wood's Ranch recreation area In Cedar Canyon. Quests present uiamkeu Faun inompson, who served as committee chairman for the special July event, and her committee, Jean Christensen, Elene Jensen, Arvilla Adams, Alberta Al-berta Morris and Mary Jane Rol-lo. Rol-lo. The College of Southern Utah football stadium was the scene for the Second Ward dinner party Friday evening. The successful event was planned under the direction di-rection of the Relief Society. Ward members Doyle and Kath-erine Kath-erine Ipson were In attendance at the dinner which was their last group party with the Ward as they are leaving Cetiar City to make a new home in California. An extended vacation to the West Coast and World's Fair began be-gan for Mr. and Mrs. Wendell Bunnell Saturday, July 21. The Bunnells, accompanied by their children, planned to travel to California where they anticipated anticip-ated a trip to Yosemite National Park. They also planned a visit to points of Interest in the San Francisco area, and a visit to the World's Fair at Seattle. Mrs. Arvilla Marsden and Mrs. LaPreal Lunt returned last week from a 14-day vacation which took them to tl.e World's Fair in Seattle, and Into Canada where they enjoyed sight-seeing through Alberta and Victoria. Saturday evening members of the Wednesday afternoon bowling bowl-ing league motored to Cedar Breaks Lodge where they enjoyed enjoy-ed dinner. Present for the social were Mr. and Mrs. C, M. Browning, Brown-ing, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Webster, Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Nelson and Mrs. Betty Nelson. Mrs. Larry (Sandra) Strang and son Kenneth returned to Salt Lake City where they will make their home. Mrs. Strang will Join her husand In Salt Lake. Larry has Just completed a tour of duty with the Utah National Guard, and has been stationed at Fort Lewis, Washington. Sandra San-dra and Kenneth have resided In Cedar City with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Francis Condie. |
