OCR Text	Show Rachel Jones Mathews Dies atTaylorsville Word has been received here of the death early this morning of Mrs. Rachel M. Jones Mathews, Math-ews, 79, a former resident of Enoch and Cedar City, and a sister sis-ter of Samuel B. Jrnes and Vol-let Vol-let Wood of Cedar City, Myron Jones of Enoch and James Jones of St. George. Mrs. Mathews died at her home In Taylorsvllle, following a paralytic para-lytic stroke she suffered two weeks ago. Funeral services will be conducted in the Taylorsvllle ward chapel Saturday afternoon. Her sister and three brothers will leave Friday morning to attend the services. Mrs. Mathews was born in Enoch, a daughter of John Lee and Rachel Simkins Jones, and spent her life there and in Cedar City until she married Alma Mathews 52 years ago and moved to northern Utah. She is survived by five children and several half brothers and sisters residing in Cedar City and Enoch.
